Travel clinics near Hampstead and North West London

Preparing for an overseas trip should not mean travelling across London for advice. Hampstead Travel Clinic supports people living and working throughout Belsize Park, Finchley Road, Kentish Town, St John’s Wood, Swiss Cottage and West Hampstead from our clinic inside Allchin Pharmacy on Englands Lane.

Our experienced pharmacists provide destination-specific travel vaccination advice, malaria risk assessments and practical guidance based on your itinerary. We consider the regions you will visit, travel dates, accommodation, activities, medical history and previous vaccinations before recommending suitable protection.

How your travel consultation works

1

Share your itinerary

Tell us your destinations, dates, accommodation and planned activities. Bring any vaccination records you have.

2

Receive tailored advice

A pharmacist reviews current destination guidance and your medical history before discussing appropriate options.

3

Get travel ready

Arrange recommended vaccinations, discuss malaria prevention and leave with practical advice for your journey.

Plan ahead—or ask us today

When should you book travel vaccinations?

Six to eight weeks before departure is ideal because some vaccination courses require more than one dose. Earlier planning can also help when your itinerary includes several countries or remote regions.

If you are leaving sooner, contact the clinic anyway. Some vaccinations can still provide useful protection at short notice, and our pharmacists can prioritise the most relevant advice for the time available. Same-day appointments may be offered when capacity allows.
